I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a new year full of health, happiness and lots of inspiration!
With the 5th anniversary of Trendy Templates Junerator Month a new line of multi model skirt generators is released. How to work with these new generators you can check out on this slide show tutorial. Included in this new line of generators you will find shade and shadow maps to easy create your own textured template. Check out the tutorial here on how easy Trendy Templates made it to create your own virtual fashion.
The past 4 years I released 70 new skirts and ruffle generators, 8 hair generators and 6 jewelry generators and I am not about to give up! So therefore I say to all the big fans of Junerator Month…… LET’S GET STARTED……..
Say ’Yes to this Dress’… a classical big ballroom gown to make a princess out of every bride. The skirt is made of 2 parts of endless ruffles of Victorian lace. It spreads out wide and the back forms a bit of a train. The top has an elegant sweetheart neckline and a low back. The lace crop top covers the open back and the upper arms. The top is closed with a row of small buttons on the back.
No wedding gown is complete without a veil. This one is connected to a modern sculpted silver tiara. A stunning combination of open loops, filigree balls, stars with diamonds and a double leaf motive. The diamonds have a subtle bling script inside for more detail. The tiara is of course material enabled and comes with a generator to build your own.
This new line will make many people happy. I created this elegant sculpted double layer floppy sun hat to match Wedding Model D. It is made with the same gorgeous Victorian lace but this hat comes in 14 different colors + black and white. On one side there is a fluffy corsage with flexi ribbons. Not only a perfect add on for the wedding dress but a beautiful accessory to many other outfits.
In answer to the many requests to come up with a generator that will build more than one model I now introduce the Multi Skirt Builders Series. The panel maker script that comes with this pack will let you choose from 6 different flexi panels; round, square, flat, pointy or with a twist. Using one of these panels you get build 2 different versions with the same generator. Multi Model 1 has a straight or an angled version, Multi Model 2 builds a single or a double skirt version. Check out the slide-show tutorial on the Designers Portal to see how easy this generator creates a bunch of cute skirts. In the DEMO console you will find all different versions. These are of course resize scripted so you can try the fit.
Shade and Highlight Maps
The Multi Skirt Builders come with a new feature to use in your favorite graphical program. Each Multi Model has a different top and/or pants. Beside the Grey Scale PNG file, you will also find separate Shade Maps and Highlight Maps. You can download these texture files to your hard disk and use them as a separate layer in your templates. I made a tutorial on how to use these shade and highlight maps. The tutorial is included as a slide show in your pack but also available on the SL Designers Portal
We all need a couple of straightforward flexi skirts and ruffles to create our various outfits. This new budget series will provide you with a wide range of basic skirts and ruffles that will have your name as the creator of course. The first 2 models are spin-offs from the Multi Models later models will be unique. The Basic Models will be set for sale at a permanent reduced price AND….. <<drumroll>> ….they will be put in the Midnight Mania Board at TMT. Each model will be in the board for four days, but will return later on again.
How do they look?
For the Mini Mania boards and Group Only items I created two textured versions of the Multi Models. Multi Model 1 was used to create a TankDress in Red and one in Purple. Multi Model 2 resulted in a Spandex Top and Skirt in Blue and in Pink. These Budget Items are sold to the group only for 99L each and will be available in the Mini Mania boards at the Main Store. Beware! These items are fit to be resold, but there are no png files or generators included. The prim elements (read the skirts) are no modify but scripted to be renamed to your liking. To use these budget dresses on mesh avatars as well I included Omega appliers. You may change the name of the applier but you cannot change the scripts.
Last but not least I will celebrate this anniversary with a wonderful new gift in the Teleport HUD. I added this cute little burlesque hat complete with generator. Build your own hat with your name as the creator and color it to any color you want. As an example of what is possible I added a 4th of July hat so you can go to your favorite party to celebrate.
Pick up your free HUD from the main store or from the Marketplace, or even easier, just click your old HUD and receive the update immediately.
Come over to the main store to get your 5% discount and see all these new releases. Play the boards and HAPPY BUILDING!
It was about time I added something to the portal. Today I put some older tutorials on the portal about the process of using the png clothing file that is included in many generators as a base/shadow map in your templates. In 3 video tutorials I will show you how to use the png file, how to texture the prim parts and how to texture the sculpted parts. A detailed UV texture map is included for you. Curious? Please check out these tutorials now.
Through five examples I will show you how to create an Omega applier HUD to add different textures to the different layers on the mesh body. You will learn how to choose between Top, Undies and Tattoo layers and how to link the appliers. I will show in a video how you can merge different clothing layers into one file in a graphical program like Photoshop or GIMP to avoid alpha glitches in your outfits. Watch this new tutorial and have fun creating!!!
I managed to get a ‘See me do it’ video integrated inside the slide show tutorial on how to use and configurate the Omega Appliers for SLink Feet. In the video you can see how I change the texts on the applier in Phothoshop from Underwear to Socks. You can watch this tutoral here
On special request a tutorial on the popular skirt generator Special Model E. You will find it here
